Gender reveal: the when and the why

The second question that people have asked, after a trepidatious 'how have you been feeling' has usually been a variation of 'do you know what it is?' 'are you finding out?'. A few haven't managed to hide their disappointment when they learn that the gender reveal will be happening, as nature

Why can't I sleep?

I like a sunrise as much as the next man. Don't get me wrong, but I don't need to see it every single day. This week I've practiced yoga at 3am, cleaned the bathroom at 4am and rearranged my wardrobe at 5am. What I have done very little of is getting the shut-eye. Week 18 pregnancy update

I felt a kick. I think. At the antenatal appointment the midwife had said that drinking a hot drink followed by a cold one would bring on some baby activity, I'm pretty sure I read that while working on a feature for Gurgle mag too so I thought it was worth a try. I sat. I waited. Nothing. Maybe it's too small to feel yet I thought. The size of a small melon, apparently. A few days later while casually eating an ice cream and drinking a (decaf) coffee, I stood
